What is a church? What is the purpose of a church? These are questions which everyone believes they know the answer to, yet most of the time we fail to understand fully the church's real purpose and meaning. There is a poem that goes something like this:
The church is not a building, the church is not a steeple...
THE CHURCH IS PEOPLE.
The real purpose of a church is to touch the lives of people for the kingdom of Jesus Christ. That is our desire at Clendenin Advent Christian Church. And it's all because of one very real story...Jesus has come, Jesus has died, Jesus has risen and Jesus will come again! This is our message, and people are our mission. We praise God for what he is doing in building his kingdom through the people of Clendenin Advent Christian Church. We invite you to worship with us. Wear your jeans, wear your tux...we will welcome you with open arms of love.
